pg 12.... - And in the news section I posted this already, but I'll post it here, as well. (I need opinions and advice, so I'm trying make sure everyone gets a chance to say)
I want to submit Devil's Cake for publishing.
Please tell me 'Yay' or 'Nay', and reasons, please, to help me make a final decision.
And if there are any companies in particular you'd prefer me to take it to ^^<3
thank you for time and support!

Absolutely!!!!!!! This was one of the first webcomics I got into, and it just keeps getting better. I love the characters, Zoshi is so cute. I would love to by this comic. Your work is so good.

- It's a BIG YAY from me, why...well that's simple, you have a very good drawing skill, it looks very easy to draw it, but when you try to draw it...you can't...I tried to draw fan art......so it looked like Kea. but well...it ended in the garbage........but I viote YAY....Keep up the good work...Hugs from me
angichan, July 24th, 2009, 10:38 am

^^ - YAY!!!
you should show this comic to
the world . . . physically
Nisey, July 24th, 2009, 11:15 am
- I think Tokyopop would be a good place to start since you make these pages according to their tech. specs right?
For some reason, Yen Press is my new favorite. Though I don't know too much about them, it seems like the company has a pretty good attitude (and they're still pretty new).
And really, if you can get hooked up with a company that will let you keep updating online for free (though so far isn't Dark Horse the only one that's done that?), no one will say no. XD Seeing a comic you like get picked up and published is exciting.
Nisey, July 24th, 2009, 11:16 am
- And "Oh look, Kea can talk again!" :D
holyfriction80, July 24th, 2009, 12:20 pm

YUSH. - Hooray first comment here~ ^^
My vote is a resounding yes! Your art is absolutely amazing, and I would love to have a copy (or.. more >>) of my own. :3 The story so far is fantastic and I giggled at nearly every page as I went through the archives. Please, please, pleeeaaaaseee publish.
I also like TokyoPop, just as a suggestion.
And Catz--I think that's a.. statue? Just closer to her than Zoshi, and situated just right... I think? D:

- Finally it's been said, all the telling off and the like... I really do hope for some now "aww-ness" cuz their relationship has been so estranged.
kuroi_hitsuji, July 26th, 2009, 10:48 pm
YAY! - I heard that TokyoPop isn't so reliabl contract-wise but then I'm not sure since I dont read contracts
Try going for Del Rey, I always liked how they did their manga.
Dark Horse...I dunno if they really target your audience. All the manga I read from them are horror. XDDDD
VISMEDIA is also good. I read Nana from VIS. XDDD<3
OH AND WOW...KEA'S TALKING!
zoshi's so sweet<3

Suggesting about Submission to a Company - It's a tough decision but if I were you I would submit a totally different manga in DelRay, Tokyopop or whatever other companies that are out there because
1: Since this comic is on the web, the audience might not buy it. Seriously, why pay $10 on something that is on the net for free?
2: Promote the new comic on your website(this one here) to notify your fans of your awsome new manga. If your fans love this webcomic, I'm sure that they will die for the new manga. Does that make sense?
I'm not sure if this will help you and I know that making a new manga from scraps isn't so fun especially when you have to start all over from the beginning.
Since the doujin group that you are in are making a print of this webcomic already, I don't see a reason why you want a company to print it out.
So my final conculsion is that you should make a totally new manga to submit to a company and surprize your fans (me included) about them printing it out and saying 'please buy my new manga from XXXX' or something like that. I'm sure with your amazing ability and story telling, it won't be a problem coming up with a new manga.
P.S - if I sound mean about this idea or suggesting, I'm really sorry. I don't mean to offend you or anyone else.

Yay! - That's a huge YAY! You're manga is entertaining and well-drawn. Funny and original and I would love to own a copy (or two, or three).
I've bought manga and stories for the simple fact that I read them on-line. I find being able to physically holding the book in my hands and knowing that I'm supporting my favorite artists even better than reading a computer screen. Besides, there are plenty of reader's who for one reason or another won't read the webcomic.
AJAngelique, July 27th, 2009, 11:27 pm
- i vote yay! ^^
Impish (Guest), July 28th, 2009, 2:30 am
mini-bleach - I kind of agree with whirly-twirly on this one: I like holding it in my hands, and I like knowing that I'm supporting the artist. Plus, the added assurance that, should something happen to my book, I know I at least have the archives here.
Still, if you want to try that angle, she could also include extras in the books that you wouldn't get online, as added incentive. i.e, "The Devil's Panties"--a web comic I absolutely love, and seems to be growing much more popular by the day. Jennie Breedon continues to update her comic on a (I think) daily basis, yet also seems to sell a goodly amount of her books all the while maintaining a pretty fair readership. She includes story lines and other tidbits in her books that never were included on the site.
If she were to push forward and publish, Angie could include character sheets, commentary, previous sketches/things that never got into the comic because they didn't fit or whatever, just some extras that would only go in with the books, and that would be, as I said, incentive to go out and buy.
I don't know, maybe that's just me, though.

hum - If I comme from belguim is it possible to buy it? Simple question? That's why a can tell you if it's a bad or a good idea...
Sorry for my bad english, I hope that I'm understandable
angichan, July 28th, 2009, 2:30 pm
melimelo<3 - I understand you perfectly<3
You can order the book Online here: http://angichan.deviantart.com/art/Devil-s-Cake-Book-01-14-99-74041373 angichan, July 28th, 2009, 2:33 pm
Impish: - I'm glad I did a little bit of that already...the book needed spacer pages, so I put these silly little creator comics at the end of every chapter, and they aren't on the web comic.
I wanna add a little more to book 2 if possible ^^ and you gave some great ideas! thank you!
angichan, July 28th, 2009, 2:44 pm
Mini-Bleach - no offense taken! I need all the advice I can get, and I never considered it from that angle ><!
And I actually just figured a way to distribute the strawberry copies of the book through the net, so I'm putting the publishing idea on hold to see how this technique plays out...
Thank you for all the great advice!!
