No news yet, - But I'm making a really nice painting ;^^
Only five publishers represented at the local Borders are accepting submissions right now.
For any interested these are:
and the competition on Zuda. (DC)

- Those all sound like good companies to apply to, I sure hope one accepts you.
Oh wow, despite most of his face being hidden the Nutcracker still clearly has a slightly surprised and slightly quirky look on his face. You're amazing at portraying emotion with very little. I think that second panel is my favorite of all time. <3

- She looks so beautiful in panel 2, absolutely adore it.

Huh. - the nutcracker is blonde (or so it seems) but also Kea isn't totally freaking out... which is werid... in fact she's helping AND SMILING!!! which she should do more because she looks uberly pretty in that panel... could this be the guy she was asking help from? I WANT TO KNOW!!!! (spews out random theories until more info is given next tuesday... poop i want it to be tuesday
Theaex, November 6th, 2009, 12:26 pm
- Is the Nutcracker blond? I can see a little bit of the hair and it looks blond.....?
sovietbitch, November 6th, 2009, 7:32 pm
- I've been wondering about this for the longest time and felt too stupid to say anything but...I need to know, lol OTL ;;;
Why is it that the story suddenly turned into this? And why is there no longer dialogue? Or uh...is that going to be answered later and for some reason I'm the only one that's asked this yet (to my knowledge)?

Good question - That's what I've been wanting to know. The last intelligible piece of the story that we had was what's-his-face saying that he'd be her slave. Then it all got swept up into this odd nutcracker cliche which I can't tell is purposeful, like part of a dream sequence, or if it's a fanciful departure from the story. Something that we'll return to at a later date.
Sorry but I don't follow how this is relevant to the storyline. Without dialogue or internal commentary to clue us in, I'm lost. I'm mostly just going off sound effects at this point.

- I think it's a dream, possibly induced by Mr TallDarknBishie. If so, he's got good taste--Hans Christian Anderson stories kick butt. ;)

- I work freelance lettering for Yen Press, and they are a wonderful company to work with. I highly encourage people to do business with them.
I have had a little experience with Dark Horse for Lettering too. They are pretty good to work with also, but I was an intern back then so I never directly dealt with them. I only know my boss at the time adored working for them.

Oh man - This comic is so sporatic, I keep getting lost. One minute the plot is building to a peak, and the next were in a completely different setting. All the drama that was worked up twards is lost, and I'm left confused as where the characters stand. :\

I try not to make filler: - As you know, I thumbnail before every chapter and follow an overall story/plot outline for the ENTIRE story (that is the very beginning to the very end). I dislike filler as much as you do, so all this 'nutcracking' has reason pertaining to the overall plot in my head...my crazy crazy head.
Hindsight is 20/20 lovely readers.
I strive hard to not web comic off the top of my head.
That's one downside for current readers, the twice weekly updates deceptively slow the story pace, but when all is said and done with this chapter it'll just be a blip in the series.
Old Plot line issues will be addressed in this chapter, and the nutcracker stuff is to be a brief mental vacation (and you know the causes behind it clever clever readers)...even though it'll get back into main story the end of this chapter. So do enjoy, I'm trying to make it pretty ;^^.
So do not fret my loves.
buh, yeah...two pages a week make for SLOW reading ><. srry.
I wish the pace to be a page a day once I gain a source of income here. and so it shall be in the future.
thank you for your current and continued patience.

Thanks - for letting us know what's going on a bit more. It's good to hear from the author that it's indeed related.
So assuming this is our mischevious boy, he might look totally different in here trying to get her to "get a fresh look" at him or something. That being said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the nutcracker story so however this ties into the plot is fine by me! :D

- Viz is probably the best and more well known... But the others are pretty well known as well ^^

- I'm now waiting patiently for a conclusion. :)I like this sequence. But I'm really wondering who the nutcracker is. Who was she asking to save her at the beginning of the chapter?
Maybe the nutcracker is Zoshi but with misleading hair colour which will be altered when he transforms. Or maybe Kea already thwapted him in the head with her shoe. It's impossible to tell. But it's so nice to see her smile. I also like what you've done with her hair and face shape.

.... - Haha...Fwit Fwit.... that made me "lol".
